Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Ask My Bot ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or manage a bot.
• If you use Ask My Bot for a business or organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms for it.
• Ask My Bot is a business tool. You may not use it to build bots aimed at children.

Description of Service

Ask My Bot is a platform that allows users to create AI-powered bots from their content, including documents, images, and text. The service provides public bot pages, embeddable widgets, and analytics tools.

User Responsibilities

Account Security

• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of unauthorized access
• Be responsible for all activities under your account
• Provide accurate and current information

Content Standards

You agree to follow our Acceptable Use Policy, which is part of these terms. In particular, you agree not to upload or create content that:

• Violates any laws or regulations
• Infringes on intellectual property rights
• Contains harmful, threatening, or abusive material
• Includes spam, phishing, or malicious code
• Violates privacy rights of others
• Contains false or misleading information
• Uses Kiosk for unlawful or unauthorized sales, including controlled drugs, illegal weapons, counterfeit or stolen goods, fraudulent products or services, or regulated products sold without required authorization or licenses

Kiosk, Products and Orders

Ask My Bot provides software that lets merchants display products and receive orders. Ask My Bot is not the seller, retailer, merchant of record, payment processor, delivery provider, or fulfillment provider. Any transaction is directly between the customer and the merchant.

Merchants are responsible for product legality, descriptions, pricing, availability and inventory, taxes or GST, required licenses and regulatory compliance, order acceptance, payment collection, fulfillment, pickup or delivery, cancellations, refunds, returns or exchanges, warranties, customer service, and product quality and safety.

Ask My Bot does not guarantee the identity, accuracy, authenticity, payment ability, or intent of a customer submitting an order. Merchants should independently confirm orders when appropriate before preparing, shipping, or delivering products.

Content Ownership and License

Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload to our service. By uploading content, you grant us a license to process, store, and display your content as necessary to provide the service.

Public Content

Content you choose to make public through your bots may be accessed by others. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to make such content public.

Our Content

The Ask My Bot platform, including software, design, and documentation, is protected by intellectual property rights and remains our property.

Service Availability

We strive to maintain high service availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may temporarily suspend service for maintenance, updates, or other reasons.

Service Limitations

• Usage limits may apply to prevent abuse
• Storage and processing capacity are subject to fair use
• We reserve the right to modify features and pricing
• Some features may change, be limited, or be discontinued

Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of your information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference.

Data Processing

• We process your content to provide AI bot functionality
• Your data is stored and processed in the United States by the providers listed on our Subprocessors page
• We implement security measures to protect your information
• You can delete bots, training sources, leads, and orders in the app at any time, and delete your whole account yourself in Settings → Sign-in & security → Delete account. Deleting your account deletes the bots you own and their data; we keep only records the law requires, such as billing and tax records, and a record of the deletion (dates and IDs only) for one year

Private Bots

Private bots restrict access to signed-in users whose email addresses are allowed for that bot. Private bots are not intended to be publicly discoverable, served as public widgets, or shown on public bot pages. Private status is an access control feature, not a guarantee that content is never processed by third-party infrastructure.

AI and Search Providers

You authorize Ask My Bot to send your uploaded content, extracted text, image descriptions, chat prompts, relevant retrieved context, and generated outputs to service providers that help operate the product, including Firebase and Google Cloud, Pinecone, Google Gemini, Vercel, and Zoho Mail. These providers process data under their own terms, privacy notices, security programs, and data processing commitments.

• We do not sell your content, private bot data, leads, or conversations.
• Indexed knowledge may be stored in Pinecone so the bot can retrieve relevant context.
• Gemini may process prompts, retrieved context, uploads, OCR inputs, and model outputs to provide AI functionality.
• Provider-side retention, abuse monitoring, and optional data-sharing controls are governed by those provider terms.

Payment and Billing

If you purchase paid services, you agree to pay all fees and charges associated with your account. Pricing and billing terms will be clearly communicated before purchase.

Billing Terms

• All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated
• Subscription fees are billed in advance
• Price changes will be communicated with advance notice
• You may cancel subscriptions at any time

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ask My Bot shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business interruption.

Disclaimers

• The service is provided "as is" without warranty
• We do not guarantee accuracy of AI-generated responses
• You are responsible for content generated by your bots
• Third-party integrations are subject to their own terms

Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms or for any other reason.

Effect of Termination

• Your access to the service will be discontinued
• Your content may be deleted after a reasonable period
• You can export leads and Kiosk orders as CSV files before termination
• Certain provisions will survive termination

Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where Ask My Bot operates, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through email or service notifications. Continued use constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
